Position Pay

• $27/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts, including Fortune 500 companies.
• Manage a large inventory of vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a preferred concentration in Business or Marketing.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Results-oriented, with attention to detail and good time management skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck.
• Must maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Must be able to maintain a current driver qualification file as required by the DOT, including an annual MVR check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers.
• For CDL holders: DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to an FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
• Willingness to travel within the district (customers yards, close geographical area, and training sites).
• Willingness to work the required schedule and at the specific location required.
• Must complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
• Must accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.

• Ability to remember and analyze information, and understand instructions or guidelines.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit.
• Frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs/12kg.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
