Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily factory rounds, safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage Permit to Work (PTW), Toolbox Talks (TBT), and PPE compliance.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, maintain reports, and ensure closure of corrective actions.
- Monitor fire safety, emergency preparedness, and safe work practices.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain ISO audit documentation, safety records, and statutory compliance documents.
- Ensure adherence to applicable factory safety regulations and the Factories Act, 1948.
Qualifications
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) – Mandatory.
- Additional certifications in Fire & Safety and First Aid.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing / industrial safety operations.
- Knowledge of DISH documentation, statutory safety requirements, and ISO audit documentation.
