The Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Support deal sourcing and evaluation by researching markets, analyzing business models, and preparing investment memos and financial summaries.
• Work closely with senior team members to perform due diligence, track portfolio performance, and assist in monitoring key metrics and milestones.
• Prepare presentations.
• Maintain internal databases.
• Coordinate with founders and external partners.
• Contribute to strategy discussions for portfolio companies.
• Manage multiple projects.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving internal processes and workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, including experience with financial analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear reports, presentations, and concise summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct independent research on markets, competitors, and business models, and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
• Organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Comfort with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and basic business software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• High level of professional integrity.
• Curiosity about new industries and technologies.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with investment, consulting, or startup environments.
• Relevant internships or prior experience in venture capital, consulting, finance, or startups.
