About the Role
This is a full-time, remote role for a Software Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and APIs, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable code.
- Review code from peers.
- Troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning).
- Collaborate with product managers, other engineers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver features on schedule.
- Contribute to technical documentation.
- Participate in architectural discussions.
- Help improve development workflows and tooling.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, Go).
- Experience with Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests.
- Ability to work with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application in production systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
