Graphic Design Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Assistant to support the development of visual materials for marketing, branding, and digital communication. The ideal candidate will have a good eye for design, a willingness to learn, and the ability to assist the creative team in producing engaging and consistent visual content across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating graphics for social media, websites, advertisements, and marketing campaigns.
• Support the design of brochures, flyers, posters, presentations, and other promotional materials.
• Help maintain brand consistency across digital and print materials.
• Edit and resize images to meet different platform and project requirements.
• Assist with basic photo editing, layout design, and visual content preparation.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members on creative projects.
• Follow design briefs and incorporate feedback from senior designers.
• Organize design files, assets, templates, and project documentation.
• Support the preparation of visual concepts and design drafts for review.
• Assist with updates to existing marketing materials and brand assets.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Stay informed about current graphic design trends and creative tools.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar design software.
• Basic understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout principles.
• Basic knowledge of digital and print design requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous design experience or a portfolio of personal, academic, or professional projects is an advantage.
• Creativity and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow design instructions and respond positively to feedback.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn new design techniques and improve creative skills.
