Analyst, Publisher Monetization
Greedygame Media
About the Role
As an Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of data and revenue. You will dig into publisher performance data, spot what is working and what isn't, and turn those findings into decisions, especially around floor price optimization, that directly increase publisher revenue. You will also work closely with the account management team and, when needed, speak with clients directly.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse publisher performance across metrics such as impressions, fill rate, eCPM, bid rates and revenue, and track trends over time.
- Optimise floor prices by studying bid landscapes, demand behaviour and inventory quality, then test and measure the impact of changes.
- Identify revenue opportunities, such as underperforming placements, geos, ad formats or demand sources, and recommend clear next steps.
- Build and maintain dashboards and regular reports for internal teams and publishers.
- Run experiments and A/B tests on monetisation setups and report results with clear takeaways.
- Support account management by preparing performance reviews, answering data queries and flagging risks or opportunities in publisher accounts.
- Interact with clients when required to explain performance, share insights and align on optimisation plans.
- Work with the product, engineering and demand teams to resolve data or performance issues.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier college or university, preferably in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of core statistics concepts (distributions, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression).
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; working knowledge of SQL is strongly preferred.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain data-driven findings simply.
- Structured problem-solving approach, high attention to detail and curiosity about the why behind numbers.
- Comfortable supporting account management and interacting with clients when needed.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Python or R.
- Experience with a BI tool such as Tableau, Looker or Power BI.
- Basic understanding of digital advertising, such as programmatic, RTB, header bidding, eCPM, fill rate and mediation.
- Internships, projects or competitions involving data analysis.
