About the Role
Fives Landis Corp is actively seeking a CNC Grinding Set-up Operator.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC grinding equipment.
- Load and secure workpieces and select appropriate tooling.
- Monitor the grinding process and make machine or program adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
- Use precision measuring equipment to verify part accuracy.
- Make G-code edits as required.
- Maintain tooling inventory, wheel usage records, and production documentation.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and replace worn tooling.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience operating Walter, Agathon, Waida, Vollmer, or EWAG grinders, or any multi-axis grinder.
- CNC machining or grinding experience.
- Programming experience with G-code is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, solve machining problems, and consistently produce precision work.
Qualifications
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
