About the Role
Reels with Purpose is a part-time Content Creator role based in Mumbai, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. The Content Creator will develop and produce engaging short-form video content and reels that align with client brand narratives and the company’s impact-driven storytelling approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Ideating concepts
- Scripting
- Coordinating shoots
- Capturing footage
- Collaborating with the production team to ensure cinematic quality and emotional resonance
- Basic video editing
- Selecting music and visuals
- Adapting content for social media platforms
- Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to refine storylines
- Tracking performance of published content
- Continuously improving creative outputs based on feedback and audience insights
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in content ideation, storytelling, and scriptwriting for short-form and cinematic video content.
- Skills in video production, including camera operation or mobile videography, basic lighting, and sound capture.
- Skills in video editing and post-production using common editing tools and software.
- Skills in social media content creation and optimization for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and other reel-first channels.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup and coordinate with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in filmmaking, digital content creation, marketing, or media production is beneficial.
- Formal education in film, media, communications, design, or a related field is an advantage.
- Comfort working with impact-driven brands or mission-led organizations and an interest in purpose-oriented storytelling is preferred.
