Full Time-No Experience Needed Caregiver

About the Role

As a full-time caregiver with Comfort Keepers Home Care in Fargo, North Dakota, you'll provide in-home support that helps seniors and adults with varying needs live comfortably and independently. You become a steady, friendly presence in your clients' lives, blending practical help with real companionship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping living spaces tidy and safe.
• Prepare meals that are both nourishing and enjoyable.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor general well-being.
• Offer transportation or accompaniment to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Deliver genuine companionship through conversation, shared activities, and good humor.
• Observe changes in a client's condition and communicate them promptly to the care team.
• Maintain accurate notes and documentation for each visit.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Compassion, reliability, and respect for client dignity and privacy.
• Physical ability to assist with transfers, mobility, and routine household tasks.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to clients within the Fargo area.
• Ability to pass required background screening.
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule that may include some weekends.
• Basic documentation skills and comfort following a care plan.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving, home care, or related experience is a plus.
• A strong communicator who listens well and can stay calm and resourceful when plans change.
