Teaching Assistant

About the Role

• Full-time, on-site role based in Namakkal.
• Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities.
• Reinforce instructional content.
• Assist with individual and small-group work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare learning materials.
• Support students with assignments.
• Monitor classroom behavior.
• Provide additional academic support, especially in core subjects like mathematics.
• Work closely with children.
• Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to improve the overall educational experience.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Skills in Assistant Teaching and Education.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Mathematics skills to assist with teaching and reinforcing core math concepts.
• Experience Working With Children.
• Ability to follow instructional plans and take direction from lead teachers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Reliability.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom.

Preferred

• Relevant diploma or degree in Education or a related field.
• Prior experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational support role is an advantage.
