Claims Adjuster Trainee

About the Role

As a claims adjuster trainee, you will learn to help customers after an accident, resolving claims over the phone. This is a hybrid role where you will work in-office two days a week for the first 12 months, with the flexibility to work from home or the office for the remaining three days. After 12 months, in-office days will vary based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims

Requirements & Tech Stack

• In-depth training on property damage and insurance contracts
• Hybrid work environment
• Must reside within 30 miles of Progressive's Miramar Claims office at 14505 SW 27th Way, Suite 100, Miramar, FL 33027.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience
• OR Bachelor’s degree
• OR Two years work experience and an associate degree

Schedule

• Training: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
• After training: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm or 9 am - 6 pm, depending on business need.

Compensation

• $59,500 - $63,500/year
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
