Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), estimates, and tender documents for urban development and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project costs.
• Support budgeting and cost planning.
• Assist in contract administration and valuations.
• Regular cost reporting.
• Analyze variations.
• Ensure expenditures align with approved budgets and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, legal teams, and contractors.
• Participate in site visits.
• Provide accurate cost data to support decision-making and compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Cost Planning and Cost Management for construction and infrastructure projects.
• Cost Control and Cost Reporting to monitor budgets, track expenditures, and produce accurate financial summaries.
• BOQ preparation, review, and verification aligned with drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, tendering procedures, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and quantity surveying or cost estimation software tools.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
