About the Internship

CoreWave IT is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Software Developer Intern eager to learn, explore software development, and contribute to assigned development tasks and projects. This remote internship is suitable for students, freshers, and aspiring developers aiming to strengthen programming fundamentals, improve problem-solving abilities, and gain exposure to software development workflows.

Note: This is an unpaid internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Support frontend or backend development tasks.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and help resolve software bugs.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and project planning.
• Learn and apply programming best practices and version control using Git and GitHub.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate progress on assigned tasks.
• Document development work and technical solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or relevant learning program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of at least one programming language.
• Familiarity with fundamental programming concepts (variables, functions, conditions, loops, data structures).
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work through technical challenges.
• Good communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet mutually agreed deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with one or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, Java, C++.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or frontend development.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Exposure to databases, APIs, or web development.
• Personal projects, academic projects, or contributions to GitHub repositories.

Note: Candidates are not expected to know every technology listed. A willingness to learn and a genuine interest in software development are important.
