Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Fresher Application Engineer for the core engineering team. This role provides pre-sales technical support, conducts live welding trials and product demonstrations, selects joint designs, and recommends industrial welding equipment and automation solutions, working closely with customers, Sales, and System Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas

• Analyze customer manufacturing setups, evaluate welding requirements, and identify process challenges.
• Conduct live welding trials and technical demonstrations at customer facilities or internal testing labs.
• Assist clients in selecting optimal joint designs, welding processes (MIG/MAG, TIG, Robotic/Cobot), and power sources.
• Support the Sales team with ROI-based solution proposals, pre-sales technical presentations, and application engineering advice.
• Prepare technical proposals, trial reports, application studies, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with System Engineers during equipment installation, commissioning, and process fine-tuning.
• Stay updated on modern welding automation, cobot systems, and innovative manufacturing technologies.

Specialized Welding Domain Training

The selected candidate will undergo training and be expected to develop expertise in:

• Power Sources: Industrial welding equipment and high-performance power sources.
• Arc Processes: MIG/MAG and TIG manual/semi-automatic welding systems.
• Robotics & Cobots: Robotic and Collaborative Robot (Cobot) welding automation.
• Process Optimization: Welding process selection, joint design optimization, and defect analysis.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• ITI in Welder Trade from a recognized institute.
• 01 year experience or academic projects/internships in welding, automation, or industrial machinery is an advantage.
• Strong technical problem-solving mindset with a passion for industrial automation and manufacturing.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for compiling reports and presentations.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license.
• Willingness to travel across Gujarat for client site trials.

Education

• ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Instrumentation)
