Key Responsibilities
- Design of substation physical layouts
- Design of lightning protection
- Design of conduit and cable plans
- Grounding analysis and design
- Generating single and three-line schematic diagrams
- Panel wiring
- Designing DC schematics
- Designing control building and relay panel layouts
- Lighting design
- Coordination with structural, civil, transmission line, and graphics disciplines
- Work as part of a design team
- Potentially assigned to more than one project
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited University
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Ability to work legally in the United States for any length of time
- Must have passed the FE Exam or will be taking the FE Exam within the next 6 months of being hired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
