About the Role
Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center is hiring a Speech Therapist (SLP) to design and implement therapy programs that help patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities. This role is part of a fully in-house therapy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and direct customized speech therapy programs.
- Provide counseling, prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Conduct screenings and diagnoses of communication and swallowing disorders.
- Deliver direct treatment to help patients improve speech, language, and swallowing function.
- Work closely with residents and staff to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- State of Iowa Speech-Language Pathologist License – or eligible to sit for board exams.
