Role Description

The Freelance Writer will create and refine written content that supports Marmaras Navigation LTD’s maritime and logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Research industry topics.
• Draft and revise materials.
• Ensure accuracy and clarity of content.
• Adapt content to different audiences and formats.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather information.
• Incorporate feedback.
• Maintain consistent tone and style across all written outputs.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured content.
• Research capabilities to gather, verify, and synthesize information.
• Ability to tailor content for different audiences and formats (e.g., reports, web pages, emails, presentations).
• Excellent command of en_US grammar, spelling, and style.
• Attention to detail and consistency.
• Comfort working remotely.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.
• Familiarity with the maritime or logistics industry is an advantage but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
