About the Role
We are looking for a Freelance Video Editor to work with our team on content for our brands Unstumbled and Unsobered. The role will involve editing content across Instagram and YouTube, primarily focused on food, travel, alcohol, lifestyle, and infotainment.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos, including Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit long-form content for YouTube.
- Create engaging edits with strong pacing, storytelling, and visual appeal.
- Add transitions, text, graphics, sound effects, and music as required.
- Adapt content to different social media formats and platforms.
- Work closely with the content and creative teams to understand the brief and deliver edits within timelines.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions as required.
- Stay updated with current social media video trends and editing styles.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Prior experience in video editing, preferably for digital/social media content.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and composition.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of Instagram and YouTube formats.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines.
- A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating relevant work.
