Digital Marketing Intern

About the Role

WriteBing is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to expand its reach to postgraduate students and researchers online. This internship offers hands-on experience across content, SEO, and social media, with opportunities to manage real projects and implement personal ideas under team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media

• Plan and manage a content calendar for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
• Create posts, carousels, reels, and graphics using Canva.
• Write simple, clear captions and hashtags relevant to Master’s and PhD students.
• Respond to comments and messages, maintaining a friendly, calm, and credible brand voice.
• Engage in relevant student and academic communities (e.g., Quora, Reddit), adhering to platform guidelines.

Content Support

• Write short blog posts and FAQs on topics relevant to students, including research proposals, literature reviews, and viva preparation.
• Assist with basic SEO tasks, such as keyword research, title optimization, and meta descriptions.

Tracking

• Monitor likes, reach, and clicks on social media posts.
• Provide a brief weekly update on successful strategies and proposed next steps.
• Observe trending topics and competitor activities.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in digital marketing and a desire to learn best practices.
• Basic understanding of social media marketing, including content posting, audience engagement, and interpreting basic platform insights.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and Canva.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets and presentation tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides).
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with comfort working in a remote team environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing time effectively in a flexible, part-time remote setting.
