About the Role

The Assistant Professor role at Aditya College of Pharmacy is a full-time, on-site position located in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in assigned pharmacy subjects.
• Maintaining high academic standards.
• Preparing lesson plans and developing course materials.
• Guiding students in projects and research activities.
• Evaluating student performance through assignments, examinations, and practical assessments.
• Contributing to curriculum development.
• Participating in academic committees.
• Engaging in scholarly research.
• Supporting institutional initiatives and student mentoring.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) or a closely related discipline.
• Ph.D. in Pharmacy or progress toward a doctoral degree is preferred.
• Strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences with the ability to teach core and specialized subjects at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
• Demonstrated skills in academic instruction, student mentoring, and classroom management.
• Ability to conduct research, publish scholarly work, and participate in academic and professional development activities.
• Effective communication skills, including clear academic writing and the ability to present complex information.
• Proficiency in using educational technology, learning management systems, and basic computer applications for teaching and assessment.
• Prior teaching or academic experience in a pharmacy or related program is an advantage.
• Commitment to ethical practices, student-centered learning, and collaborative work.
