About the Role
Interior Company, a subsidiary of Square Yards, is seeking an Interior Designer for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru. The team is passionate about construction, interior design, and visual aesthetics, focused on delivering a seamless home construction and interior designing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop interior design solutions for residential and commercial projects.
- Perform space planning, material selection, and layout design.
- Meet clients to understand requirements.
- Prepare mood boards, drawings, and 3D visualizations.
- Coordinate with architects and contractors.
- Oversee implementation to ensure design integrity and quality.
- Select FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment).
- Align designs with project budgets and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Interior design and space planning skills.
- Knowledge of architecture and construction drawings.
- Experience with FF&E selection.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar tools).
- Communication and client-facing skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of current design trends, sustainable design practices, and local building codes is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
