About the Role
The Application Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support DGM India’s internet marketing and related technology solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
- Write clean and efficient code.
- Implement new features.
- Fix defects.
- Optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with existing systems.
- Work with databases.
- Ensure seamless front-end and back-end functionality.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Follow best practices for security and scalability.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Software Development and Programming
- Building and maintaining production applications
- Databases (designing schemas, writing queries, optimizing data access)
- Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies
- Integration of applications and services (APIs, third-party tools, internal systems)
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Version control (e.g., Git)
- Basic software testing practices
- Ability to analyze requirements and solve technical problems
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Web technologies, internet marketing platforms, or ad-tech solutions (exposure is an advantage)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
