About the Role
The Video Editor Intern role at DOPE is a full-time, hybrid position. The intern will assist in editing and producing video content for marketing, product walkthroughs, tutorials, and social media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble raw footage.
- Apply cuts and transitions.
- Sync audio.
- Perform basic color grading.
- Incorporate motion graphics or text overlays to align with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to interpret creative briefs.
- Maintain organized project files.
- Deliver videos optimized for multiple platforms and formats.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Video Production and basic understanding of video workflows.
- Skills in Video Editing.
- Skills in Video Color Grading.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for visual enhancements.
- Familiarity with industry-standard video editing tools (e.g., Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Creative visual storytelling ability.
- A portfolio or sample work demonstrating editing and design skills is preferred.
- Relevant coursework or ongoing studies in film, media, design, communication, or a related field is an advantage.
