Store Helper

About the Role

The Store Helper role at gagan still plant is a full-time, on-site position based in Jamuria. The company operates in the manufacturing and industrial sector, focusing on maintaining safe, efficient, and organized facilities. The store function plays a key role in ensuring materials and supplies are available when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, sorting, and organizing materials, parts, and supplies.
• Help with stock counts.
• Label items.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas.
• Support the store in issuing materials to internal teams.
• Perform basic documentation tasks.
• Follow inventory procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Follow safety guidelines.
• Handle items carefully.
• Provide helpful, respectful service to internal stakeholders.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work reliably in a structured environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for handling inventory records.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork.
• Willingness to work full time on-site in Jamuria.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
• Basic Retail Sales and Organization Skills.
• Ability to support Training efforts by learning procedures quickly and sharing correct practices.
• Prior experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or industrial settings is an advantage.
