About the Role
Qualcomm is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to solve complex problems in the fingerprint domain. This role involves the fusion of multiple disciplines, including machine learning, computer vision, and signal processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing machine learning algorithms for the classification of fingerprints and will interact with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, testing).

Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Graduation in engineering with preference to EE, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- A Master's degree is an advantage.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning.
- Experience with one or more of the following fields will be an advantage: signal processing, image processing.
Note: This role is not looking for GenAI experts such as LLM developers, prompt engineers, or NLP specialists.
