Telesales Specialist

About the Role

Mera Laundry is seeking a full-time, on-site Telesales Specialist in Bengaluru. This role focuses on driving sales by managing outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, and converting leads into customers. You will be instrumental in explaining services, pricing, and promotions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective customers.
• Handle inbound customer inquiries.
• Convert leads into paying customers by clearly explaining services, pricing, and promotions.
• Follow up on prospective customers.
• Update call records in systems or spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with operations teams for smooth service delivery.
• Address customer questions.
• Manage basic service-related issues over the phone.
• Provide accurate information to support repeat business.
• Meet sales targets.
• Maintain a professional telephone manner.
• Contribute feedback to improve sales scripts and customer engagement processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in telesales, call centers, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Comfort using phones, CRM tools, or basic computer applications.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to handle high call volumes.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Customer Support skills.
• Effective Communication skills (clear spoken English or local languages, active listening).
• Solid Sales skills (lead conversion, upselling, meeting targets).
• Training capabilities to follow sales scripts and adapt to new processes.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Further education in business, marketing, or related fields is an advantage.
