Junior Interior Designer

About the Role

Dephyen Studio is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing drawings, and assisting with project documentation for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to space planning.
• Select materials and finishes.
• Coordinate FF&E details.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and mood boards.
• Collaborate with architects, senior designers, and contractors to ensure design intent is accurately implemented on site.
• Participate in site visits and measurements as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
• Foundational knowledge of Architecture and understanding of how interior environments integrate with building systems.
• Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings.
• Familiarity with FF&E selection, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment coordination.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic visualization tools.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under guidance.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Openness to feedback and continuous learning.
• Interest in sustainable design principles and contemporary interior design trends is beneficial.
