About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Management Trainee to drive technology, automation, and process optimization within our Logistics and Cross-Dock operations. Your focus will be on optimizing Dispatch workflows, ensuring system-to-ground sync, automating manual entries, and documenting every process to build a scalable, tech-enabled warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch Optimization:
• Analyze or identify bottlenecks in dispatching and delivering to drop points.
• Optimize routes through drop points to ensure efficiency.
• Automate manual data entries (e.g., crate entries) by working with the tech team.
• Configure the system to notify stakeholders for breaches of temperature and stopovers.
• Analyze solutions for problems in dispatch and receiving.
• Tech Documentation & SOPs:
• Write comprehensive System SOPs for all inbound, outbound, and returns processes.
• Create and maintain detailed System SOPs – step-by-step guides for using the Mid-Mile dashboard, route planner, and reporting tools.
• Document integration workflows between Mid-Mile Logistics and Last Mile systems.
• Analyze data for the Daily Run Report and create MIS for temperature reports for primary and secondary vehicles.
• Automation & Process Improvement:
• Identify repetitive manual tasks (e.g., crate entry, route allocation for drop points) and build macros/automation.
• Monitor key metrics: vehicle kilometers, picking crates, temperature, and stopovers, ensuring digital monitoring.
• Present data-backed recommendations to improve throughput and reduce turnaround time.
• Facilitate tracking and make the system viable for all logistics stakeholders.
• Document troubleshooting manuals for common tech glitches.
• Maintain a change log of all system updates, new features, and process changes.
• Maintain documentation for new requirements, including URD (User Requirements Document) and BRD (Business Requirements Document) documents.
