Lab Support

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, configure, and bring up hardware platforms, including installing components, flashing BIOS, and updating firmware.
• Install and configure operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), drivers, and necessary software for validation or production environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, performing root-cause analysis and documenting resolutions.
• Coordinate with engineers, lab technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless platform deployment and testing.
• Maintain inventory of hardware components and track version control of firmware updates.
• Adhere to lab safety protocols and maintain an organized workspace.
• Generate and maintain documentation for platform configurations, issues, and resolutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in installing and configuring operating systems, drivers, and firmware.
• Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI flashing, firmware updates, and hardware validation tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hardware assembly, system bring-up, or a similar technical support role.

• Ability to work independently, follow safety guidelines, and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
