About the Role
Spaces And Stories is an interior design and styling studio based in Andheri East, Mumbai. The studio focuses on emotional resonance and aesthetic balance of spaces, prioritizing personal expression over trends. The Interior Designer will work on-site full-time in Mumbai, collaborating closely with clients and the creative team to design and style residential and brand-focused spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts.
- Create space plans.
- Select materials and finishes.
- Coordinate FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment).
- Prepare drawings and design documentation.
- Visit project sites to oversee implementation.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and photographers.
- Support décor curation.
- Style for shoots and campaigns.
- Contribute to mood boards and presentations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning.
- Working knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings.
- Experience with FF&E selection and coordination.
- Strong visual and styling sensibility.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools).
- Basic familiarity with presentation tools.
- 3ds max rendering is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Relevant educational background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Openness to feedback.
- A client-centered approach to design.
