About the Role

A full-time hybrid Service Engineer role based in Mumbai. Responsibilities include on-site work at customer locations and some work-from-home activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair imaging equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Respond to service calls to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct equipment checks.
• Document service activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Offer guidance on proper equipment usage.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding service status and timelines.
• Occasional travel within the region may be required for field service assignments.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Troubleshooting and technical support skills for diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving equipment issues.
• Hands-on experience in field service, including on-site installation and calibration.
• Capabilities in maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical or medical imaging systems.
• Communication skills for collaborating with customers, peers, and management.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Comfort with using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and basic computer applications for reporting and documentation.
• Willingness to travel locally, manage time independently, and respond to urgent service requests.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (electronics, biomedical, electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
