About the Role
- This is a full-time opportunity for a Field Engineer focused on ground-up commercial construction.
- The role offers a career growth opportunity with a highly reputable, industry-leading General Contractor.
- Applicants MUST currently live in AZ and be authorized to work in the United States; relocation and sponsorship are not offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with layout, surveying, and project documentation.
- Supporting quality assurance and ensuring field compliance with plans and specifications.
- Maintaining accurate logs, drawings, and daily field documentation.
- Coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
- Helping drive schedule adherence and field productivity.
- Learning the GC's best-in-class processes with a clear path to higher project engineering and management roles.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience or internships in commercial construction preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in the Field and working in accordance with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
- Must be local to Arizona and have worked in AZ Construction.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- A desire to grow within a reputable GC.
- Good tenure; commitment, reliability, and investment in long-term career development valued.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent field experience) is a plus but not required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
