About the Role

The On Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing daily piling and foundation activities at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily piling and foundation activities at project sites.
• Coordinating work crews.
• Monitoring progress against project plans.
• Ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
• Managing materials and equipment usage.
• Verifying measurements and levels.
• Supporting site engineers in implementing technical instructions.
• Maintaining site documentation.
• Reporting issues or delays.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensuring site operations are efficient, compliant with regulations, and completed within timelines and budgets.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong site supervision and construction management skills, including experience overseeing piling or foundation works.
• Skills in project coordination and planning, such as scheduling daily activities, managing resources, and tracking progress.
• Safety and compliance skills, including knowledge of site safety practices, use of PPE, and adherence to local regulations and company standards.
• Communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to coordinate with workers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors clearly and respectfully.
• Documentation and reporting skills, including maintaining daily logs, site reports, and basic use of digital tools for records.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in varying weather conditions, with a focus on reliability, punctuality, and problem-solving under pressure.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in piling or foundation work may be considered in place of formal education.
• Prior experience in the construction industry in Kolkata or similar environments will be an added advantage.
