Associate Physician Account Representative

Key Responsibilities
- Assists in processing and managing patient claims.
- Assists in collecting payments from third-party insurance carriers and patients.
- Assists in resolving any issues relating to the physician account.
- Assists in answering any questions physicians may have about their account.
- Assists physicians with terms for repayment structures.
- Assists in negotiations of any overdue balance to recover payment from physicians.
- Assists in generating bills for patients including payment plan options.
- Explains insurance benefits to patients.
- Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
- Knowledge of physician and hospital billing, required.
- Ability to read and understand explanation of benefits, required.
- Data entry skills (40-45 wpm).
- Ability to communicate effectively to enhance overall patient experience.
- Ability to work in various applications and understand workflows.
