About The Role

SynergisticIT is seeking an entry-level Software Developer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. This opportunity is suited to candidates with a foundation in programming and a strong interest in building a career in technology. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain software components under the direction of senior developers or project leads.
• Review requirements, break tasks into manageable steps, and contribute code that is readable, maintainable, and aligned with established standards.
• Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and project planning.
• Document technical work.
• Help investigate and resolve software issues.
• Learn relevant frameworks, tools, and development workflows, including version control and testing practices.
• Communicate progress and blockers promptly.
• Incorporate feedback and support continuous improvement across assigned projects.
• Collaborate with developers, quality assurance professionals, business analysts, or other stakeholders to understand user needs and deliver reliable solutions.
• Handle sensitive information responsibly and follow applicable security, privacy, and workplace policies.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or a similar language.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, and basic software development concepts.
• Exposure to web technologies, APIs, version control systems such as Git, or cloud platforms is an advantage, but not essential for every assignment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates with equivalent education, relevant project experience, or demonstrated technical skills are also encouraged to apply.
• Ability to explain your approach to solving problems.
