About the Role
The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions within the cable manufacturing processes. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Delhi Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Configuring and maintaining control systems.
- Integrating robotics and automated equipment.
- Collaborating with production and maintenance teams to improve throughput, quality, and safety.
- Diagnosing and resolving equipment and system issues.
- Documenting standards and procedures.
- Supporting new automation projects from concept through commissioning.
- Monitoring system performance and supporting operations from the shop floor.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in Automation and Process Control for industrial manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles related to control panels, wiring, and power distribution.
- Experience with Robotics and automated machinery integration, programming, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting control systems, sensors, drives, and PLC/SCADA-based setups.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards, quality practices, and preventive maintenance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on-site in a production environment.
- Prior experience in cable manufacturing or similar continuous process industries is an advantage.
