About the Role
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving business growth across Indian Flower Company (IFC) and Flower Mandi (FM). The role focuses on generating leads, acquiring new customers, maintaining long-term client relationships, coordinating with cross-functional teams, maximizing revenue, and delivering excellent customer service. The Sales Executive is expected to proactively identify opportunities, convert enquiries into business, ensure timely execution of orders, and represent the company with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through cold calling, references, digital platforms, exhibitions and walk-ins.
- Build relationships with architects, decorators, event planners, wholesalers, retailers and corporate clients.
- Promote all products and services of IFC and FM.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product recommendations.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
- Maintain regular follow-ups until order confirmation and payment completion.
- Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, Accounts and Production for smooth execution.
- Ensure timely delivery and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Represent the company during client meetings and business visits.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales MIS reports.
- Track pending enquiries and maximize conversion ratio.
- Collect customer feedback and identify upselling opportunities.
- Conduct market research, monitor competitors and recommend pricing and promotional strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain ethical business practices.
