Management Trainee

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Research Analyst team for a large Europe-based fund house specializing in accounting-based proprietary valuation.
• Assist in maintaining proprietary equity valuation models for companies under coverage.
• Apply customized accounting adjustments to evaluate the true economic value of a company.
• Support research analysts during earnings season, including:
• Updating models.
• Forecasting using consensus.
• Providing summary of results for internal circulation.
• Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements and notes to accounts to ensure high data accuracy.
• Read and analyze company presentations, call transcripts, and broker reports to capture relevant impacts on overall company valuations.
• Track and analyze news flows and daily share price movements.
• Manage databases for respective stocks.
• Work on ad-hoc analysis of accounting parameters across companies and sectors.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of ESG aspects for coverage companies.
