About the Role
INX International is seeking an Ink Maker for a 3rd shift position. This role offers competitive starting pay with a shift differential.
Key Responsibilities
- Tending mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind raw materials for high-quality printing ink manufacturing.
- Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge, and mix inks.
- Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials.
- Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjusting as needed.
- Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates.
- Following procedures to filter, package, and label inks.
- Making QC adjustments as instructed.
- Weighting quantities of raw materials for use in manufacturing.
- Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials.
- Packaging the finished product.
- Operating a forklift.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months.
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math, communications, and mechanical skills.
- Capability of managing multiple tasks.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs.
Considered a Plus
- Understanding of 5S workplace.
- Knowledge of TPM.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts.
- Ability to work overtime and on weekends.
