Junior Clinical Data Analyst

About the Role

Medpace Insights & Analytics within Clinical Operations is focused on building a data-driven culture. The team uses data and insights to drive increased strategic and operational efficiencies. This role is a highly visible analytical position requiring interaction and partnership with leadership across Medpace.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clinical operations and study management.
• Drive insights and study management through visualization and storytelling.
• Utilize SQL, Data Modeling, and Data Warehousing.
• Partner with operations management to improve study efficiency.
• Apply analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to develop analytics & BI capabilities.
• Work with complex data sets, conduct deep data analysis, and design/develop long-term solutions.
• Design and develop key metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive insights, improve performance, and reduce costs.
• Partner with operations leadership to understand key risks and problems in a clinical trial.
• Conduct complex analysis and proactively identify key clinical insights to assist study management decision making.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Data Visualization skills.
• Technical Skills: Experience in, or strong desire to learn SQL, DAX, Data Modeling.
• Communication Skills.
• Analytical Skills.
• Power BI preferred.
• Advanced SQL preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Life Science, Computer Science, or Related Degree.
• 0-3 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics within a clinical setting or healthcare.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to multitask while efficiently completing high-quality work.
