About the Role

Vetic is seeking skilled and clinically confident Veterinarians / Veterinary Surgeons to manage diverse medical and surgical cases, make independent clinical decisions, and grow alongside experienced clinicians and specialists. The role focuses on advanced clinical practices, modern infrastructure, and quality patient care in small animal medicine, diagnostics, and surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage OPD and IPD cases, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-ups.
• Perform comprehensive clinical examinations and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Manage medical cases, diagnostic procedures, anesthesia, and routine and soft-tissue surgeries, as per clinical competency.
• Monitor hospitalized patients, oversee recovery, and ensure appropriate post-operative care.
• Collaborate with senior veterinarians and specialists on complex cases and treatment decisions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow established clinical protocols and patient-safety standards.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery plans effectively to pet parents.
• Contribute to clinical quality, continuous learning, and knowledge-sharing within the veterinary team.

Qualifications

• BVSc & AH / DVM or equivalent recognised veterinary qualification.
• Hands-on experience in small animal practice, veterinary medicine, surgery, OPD, and IPD management.
• Strong clinical reasoning, diagnostic capabilities, and case-management skills.
• Practical exposure to anesthesia and soft-tissue surgery is preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and pet-parent counselling skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior clinicians.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including day and night shifts.
• Leadership, team mentoring, or clinical supervision experience will be an added advantage.
