Warehouse Associate

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Associate role based in Coimbatore.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment.
• Ensuring accurate documentation and proper storage.
• Packing and preparing items for dispatch to various project sites.
• Assisting with shipping and receiving activities.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.
• Operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (where licensed), to move and stage inventory efficiently.
• Working closely with procurement and site teams to support timely delivery of materials and to help monitor stock levels.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Shipping & Receiving: ability to verify orders, check documentation, and manage incoming and outgoing materials.
• Skills in Packing and organizing materials: ensuring items are securely prepared for transport and correctly labeled.
• Skills in Unloading deliveries safely and efficiently, including manual handling in line with safety guidelines.
• Skills in Forklift Operation and Pallet Jack use, with appropriate licensing or certification where required.
• Basic inventory control skills, including counting stock, updating records, and reporting discrepancies.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, use personal protective equipment, and maintain a tidy work area.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and coordinate with site and office staff.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required and to stand or walk for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, logistics, or construction materials handling experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional training in warehouse operations or material handling is an advantage.
