About the Role
The Network Engineer is a full-time, on-site role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and related hardware.
- Monitoring network performance.
- Diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues.
- Applying security best practices.
- Supporting upgrades or changes to the network environment.
- Collaborating with internal teams and clients to understand requirements, develop network solutions, and ensure stable, secure operations for IT/data networking and audio-video systems.
- Documentation of configurations.
- Adherence to industry standards.
- Proactive capacity and performance planning.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Network Administration and day-to-day operational management of network environments.
- Skills in Network Engineering and Network Design.
- Skills in Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
- Skills in Network Security to implement and maintain secure configurations and policies.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent vendor-neutral credentials are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Clear communication.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in on-site team settings.
