About the Role
A high-growth, VC-backed SaaS company is hiring its founding India APM. This role is remote (India). At this stage, the APM will own discovery calls, write specifications, and oversee feature launches, typically within the same sprint or two.
Key Responsibilities
- Sit in on customer calls and support tickets to identify product shortcomings.
- Translate identified issues into written problem statements and rough specifications.
- Collaborate directly with a designer and 2-3 engineers to build features.
- Define "done" for a feature by identifying the key metric it should move.
- Track feature performance post-launch.
- Conduct competitor teardowns.
- Write release notes.
- Perform onboarding-flow QA.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Sharp, structured written communication (specs and updates that don't need a follow-up call).
- Basic comfort with data (e.g., SQL, Mixpanel, or similar) or a fast willingness to learn it.
- Genuine curiosity about user behavior.
- A reliable remote-work setup.
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Ideally, some exposure to a B2B or SaaS product (internship counts).
