About the Role
Visiting Angels of Fairfield is seeking a compassionate, dependable live-in caregiver to support a client in the Southbury, CT area. This position involves driving the client to appointments and errands.
Live-In Caregiver Responsibilities
- Live in the client’s home and provide non-medical assistance and companionship.
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing and dressing.
- Drive the client to and from appointments, errands, and outings.
- Perform grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 6 months of caregiving experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record (owning a vehicle is not required).
- Available for a live-in schedule.
- Must be able to speak and read English.
Qualifications
- Dementia experience preferred.
- Certified Nurse’s Aide / HHA preferred.
