Field Sales Officer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Field Sales Officer. The Field Sales Officer will identify and onboard new merchants, promote Paytm’s payment solutions, and support merchants in using Paytm products effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual or field-focused outreach.
• Explain product features.
• Resolve basic service issues.
• Maintain strong business relationships with assigned merchants.
• Meet sales targets.
• Document sales activities.
• Provide feedback from the field to internal teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve merchant experience and product adoption.

Qualifications

• Strong Sales skills with the ability to meet targets and drive product adoption.
• Client Relations and Business Relationship Management skills to build and sustain long-term partnerships.
• Customer Service skills to handle merchant queries and provide timely support.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Basic understanding of digital payments and mobile applications.
• Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma.
• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in field sales, fintech, or financial services is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Paytm products is a plus.
