About the Role

The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune District. This role is responsible for overseeing local business operations and ensuring alignment with HOERBIGER’s global standards and strategic objectives. The individual will provide leadership for the site, manage key stakeholder relationships, and drive performance across production, sales, and service activities.

• Monitoring operational efficiency.
• Managing budgets and resource allocation.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Building and developing high-performing teams.
• Mentoring leaders.
• Nurturing a culture consistent with HOERBIGER’s values.
• Collaborating closely with regional and global management to implement strategic projects and achieve sustainable growth in the Pune District.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business leadership, site management, or general management within industrial, automotive, energy, or mechanical engineering sectors.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, financial oversight, and performance management.
• Proficiency in organizational leadership, team development, and change management.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing or service operations, quality and safety standards, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• A master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
• Experience working in multinational organizations and comfort operating within global structures and reporting lines.
• Ability to work on-site in Pune District and travel as needed for regional or global coordination.
