About the Role
Alignerr is seeking biology experts to evaluate and improve AI systems trained on advanced scientific content. This role offers an opportunity to influence how AI understands and communicates complex biology. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Design advanced biology problems and questions to test AI performance.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with sound scientific logic.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning.
- Identify errors, misconceptions, or gaps in AI responses.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks for undergraduate through Masters-level biology.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI models.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- Strong command of advanced biology concepts with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and precisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating quality and accuracy.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment.
- No prior AI experience required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation frameworks.
- Familiarity with how large language models (LLMs) work.
- Background spanning multiple biology subdisciplines (e.g., cell biology, genetics, physiology, biochemistry).
