About the Role

Life & Work Infinite (LaWI.in) connects growing retail and D2C businesses with senior leadership expertise. LaWI works as an integrated extension of client leadership teams, offering flexible practitioner-led engagements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular presence at client locations and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with founders and leadership teams to shape and execute business and brand strategy for retail and D2C businesses.
• Lead P&L and cash-flow planning.
• Guide omnichannel and store expansion.
• Review store SOPs and audits.
• Improve buying, inventory, and supply chain performance.
• Coach leadership and teams.
• Enhance customer experience, loyalty, and CRM.
• Support fundraising readiness and family-business governance.
• Work closely with client stakeholders to define outcomes, track revenue and margin improvements, and build capabilities within client teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to work on-site with clients in Bengaluru.
• Manage multiple engagements.
• Adapt to dynamic founder-led and family-business contexts.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret business data, assess performance drivers, and make evidence-based decisions.
• Business and business planning skills, with experience in P&L ownership, cash-flow planning, growth strategy, and expansion in retail or D2C environments.
• Excellent communication skills, including stakeholder management, presentation abilities, and clear written and verbal communication with diverse teams.
• Customer service orientation, with a focus on customer experience design, loyalty, CRM, and frontline team enablement.
• Proven leadership experience in retail, D2C, or consumer brands; prior roles such as business head, regional head, or functional leader are highly valued.
• Demonstrated success in scaling multi-store operations, franchise networks, or omnichannel models, ideally in jewellery, apparel, lifestyle, or similar sectors.
• Relevant academic background in business, management, retail, or related fields; an MBA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
