About the Role

FirstHive is seeking a Data Science Engineer to join its AI and Data Science team. This role will focus on building ML and AI features to enhance the company's CDP platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build ML models for:
• Customer segmentation
• Entity resolution
• Churn prediction
• Conversion prediction
• Recommendations
• Develop LLM-powered features using prompts, embeddings, and RAG.
• Write SQL for feature engineering and analytical workflows.
• Build model APIs using FastAPI.
• Support model deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build reliable data and ML pipelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong proficiency in Python, Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Good understanding of core ML concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Basic knowledge of LLM APIs, embeddings, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Academic projects, internships, Kaggle, or GitHub ML work are a plus.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
